CROP Hunger Walk

WOW!! Sunday, October 15th - what a great day it was!  There are so many people who contributed to making the walk a success.

- Thank you to our host church, Forest Hill UMC, for sharing your church home with us.

- Thank you to our sponsors - Your generosity helped to provide t-shirts and refreshments to our walkers and helped with logistical expenses.

- Thank you to our enthusiastic volunteers who offered helping hands and big smiles to ensure that the CROP Walk ran smoothly.

- Thank you to our wonderful, dedicated walkers!  We estimate that over 300 people came out under sunny fall skies to walk together against hunger and poverty. Thank you for walking in solidarity with those in Cabarrus County and around the world who must walk to find food or shelter.

- Thank you to the Concord Police Department for insuring our safety during the walk.

It is not too late to donate to the CROP Hunger Walk - if you are interested in donating, you may still do so at
