Food Pantry Network
Our pantries offer nutritious food, fresh produce, and other perishable items to strengthen and encourage households experiencing food insecurity.
1) Cereal and peanut butter
2) Canned carrots, peas, potatoes and mixed vegetables
3) Canned fruit
4) Soup and pasta sauce
5) Any dried beans
Right now, we have plenty of canned chicken and tuna, canned green beans, canned corn, canned pinto beans, spaghetti noodles and mac & cheese.
The Crisis Center food pantry is located at 246 Country Club Dr NE in Concord. We are operating a drive-through food pantry from 10am-1pm Monday through Friday. Clients may access our pantry once every calendar month.
PLEASE NOTE that food clients must be a resident of Cabarrus County or live within the Kannapolis city limits. A picture ID and proof of residence should be provided.
Among the foods distributed are healthy produce and other perishable items that are moved from grocery stores to kitchen table within 24 hours. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and volunteer pick-up drivers make this ministry possible.
We are always looking for volunteer pick-up drivers to pick up food from particular grocery stores and deliver to one of CCM’s pantries. For more information about how to volunteer, contact Lorie Williams.

A Mobile Food Pantry is a great way to provide a large number of families with food in just a few hours. Through our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and sponsorships from local churches, businesses, and organizations, a truck full of food goes directly into neighborhoods with high food insecurity. Under the direction of CCM’s Food Program Manager, loyal volunteers bag food for an average of 150 families. A Mobile Pantry is the best “bang for the buck” when it comes to providing food for those in need!
To find out how to sponsor or volunteer at a Mobile Pantry, contact Kris Edscorn.
