We are looking for Striving Reader Mentors to provide one-on-one mentoring and support to help 1st and 2nd grade students develop the critical reading skills they need to be successful prior to 3rd grade when reading and comprehension become essential for the overall learning process. Children who read proficiently by 3rd grade have better academic outcomes, setting them up for future life and workforce success.
