How to receive Financial Assistance
Please note – CCM’s Crisis Center will be closed the week of December 23rd for the Christmas holiday and January 1st for New Year’s Day.
Financial assistance clients are seen on a first come, first serve basis and must be residents of Cabarrus County or live within the Kannapolis City limits. To see if you qualify for assistance, you must come to the CCM Crisis Center and speak to the Client Services Specialist at the intake window. If you qualify and slots are available, you will be given an appointment time.
Please note that you must have exhausted all other available resources before you can be considered for assistance.
It is advisable that you bring:
- Your past due rent notice or past due utility bill
- Your picture ID
- Documents showing your current address
- Documents showing income and expenses for the current and previous months – i.e. pay stubs, receipts and bank statements
